You’ve decided to look deeper into the channel program with ICI Events and want to know how much you can really benefit. Let’s take a loot at those details below.
What is your role in the event process?
You decide the event format that you want to host with the ICI Events team.
You decide which partner vendors you want to bring to the event. (10 minimum required to contract with ICI events, up to as many as 50). Other potential partners will be invited by ICI Events to try to impress you and to meet the attendees. ICI Events manages this process externally.
You introduce the ICI events sales team to your partner vendors.
You invite your customers to register with you as a referral
You bring your sales team to the event and highlight your partners. The meals for your team will be covered by ICI Events (up to 10 people)
How does the money work?
Your partner vendors pay ICI Events directly. If your partner vendors have MDF funds available with your company, they must pay you directly instead of ICI events. We will collect the payment from you, but you can keep 5% of the fee for processing the exchange.
You get paid a contracted amount for every targeted customer that registers and attends with you as their referral.
What roles or speaking opportunities will you have at the event?
Someone from your company will speak at the very beginning of the show and introduce your company and say anything you want about your partner vendors and what you hope attendees get out of the show.
All other keynotes and speaking opportunities are billed to sponsors, unless you have a special guest that will drive attendee attendance, in which case ICI Events will reserve a mainstage or breakout keynote for you.
Other than that, your sales team should mingle in the crowds and come to the demos and keynotes and highlight value for your sales pipeline.
ICI Events will send you an even deeper dive into the show schedule, keynotes, and other details 2-3 weeks after the event date is scheduled. Registration usually opens 60-90 days from the event date.
